Innisfree Gardens

Sometimes we forget about the treasures in our own neighborhoods. This is one of those treasures I'd like to share with you. My friend Lynn and I try get together every few weeks to enjoy a local activity. Yesterday we visited Innisfree Gardens.
The path starts at the little lake.

We were busy chatting when we stumbled upon a flock of geese.

Something new at every turn. Love this tiny covered bridge ahead.

Beautiful lilies and flowers at the water's edge.

Interesting.

I've never seen a lily grow this tall!

The gardens are so diverse.

My children use to love this little arch when they were small. Like a fairyland!

Look at the pretty cobalt grating.

Rest and relaxation, so peaceful.

Flowers cascading from stone walls throughout the gardens.

What a pretty stairway!

Meandering pathways.

Just one of the lovely waterfalls.

Beautiful lilies fill this portion of the lake.
A second post may be necessary! I have so many photos, it was hard to choose which to feature today! I hope you had a peaceful hike. Don't forget the hidden treasures in your neighborhood!
 Have a wonderful week!

Today I am linking to Flora Cottage Thursday at Fishtail Cottage.
