Pinks

WOW! A lot of us have been experiencing a heat wave! I'm sure many of your gardens are suffering as is mine. Since my pretty pink flowers are in sad shape, here are a few images of flowers during cooler weather! I love Summer, but we all need a break. Stay cool and enjoy!

Today I'm joining Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for Pink Saturday.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Your pink flowers are so pretty. My garden is really suffering from the heat. Nothing pretty blooming right now except the hydrangeas.
Have a great weekend,
Barb

Hi Poppi
Your pink blooms are beautiful, we've been having torrential rain in Normandy and the hydrangeas are lovin' it!
Today is better though!
Happy Pink Saturday.

Hi, Happy Pink Saturday. Great blog, I went to read your profile, a garden and starfish post. Great posts. Your garden looks lush. Ours has just dried up and nearly blown away with the hot, dry winds we've been having. I always tell my husband I do better w/smaller spaces. I love your garden!! I contrasted the heat and spring too. We have been triple digits mostly since, since, I can't remember. It's been hot and dry. Enjoyed my refreshing visit! Thanks, Jenn oh yes, Poppi Linn, wonderful name.

Hello,
I visited your blog today. I saw you on Art @ Home. I have grown kids also. Your photos are lovely. As I was scrolling down, I saw the picture of the pink rose....so beautiful. Me and my daughters just started a new blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. I would enjoy coming back to visit with you and seeing all your wonderful, colorful ideas. Hope to hear from you, and have a sweet day.

I love all of those gorgeous pink blossoms. Hope you get some relief from the heat. I cut my annual baskets back to almost nothing. They were looking awfully sick. Gave them a bit of fertilizer. We'll see what happens.

Hi Lynn,
Your pinks really are gorgeous! Pink is such a happy color. It cooled down here for a few days and has gone back into the 80's now. But the beauty of living in a prairie province (although we are surrounded by a beautiful natural forest) is that the wind blows almost constantly, not hard, just nicely enough to keep you cooled down some. It really makes the heat so much more tolerable. I hope you are getting some relief from the heat. Have a good evening!
Hugs, Cindy
