My Favorite Room

Welcome to my screened porch. This is where I enjoy my morning coffee or a good book,  dinner with my family or time with friends. Rain or shine, this is my favorite room in the house.

From this room, I can listen to the birds...

...and enjoy my garden.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a wonderful week.

Hi Lynn,
Love your screened porch and the decor. Birds, how could I not love it? Looks like a fabulous place to relax and enjoy your gorgeous blooms. I was given an award today and I have passed it on to you. Check out my blog when you get a chance.

Hi Lynn, It's nice to meet you. We have similar profiles. Our daughters were recently married and now I'm off discovering my creative side buying and selling antiques and vintage items at markets and two etsy shops where I also repurpose and create handmade items.
Your pics are gorgeous! Love the black eyed susans.
Have a great day!

The rudbeckias have to be one of the greatest shades of yellow ever!

I went with a screened gazebo some distance from our house... while lovely enough, I think we would have been better served by a wonderful screened porch like yours... I know from growing up in Vermont, just how amazing porch sitting can be... in season, it really was the social center of the home!

I think I need to dig out the decorative birdcage in my shed and do something with it. I can see why you like this room so much, Lynn. I'd love to sit in it! I'm off to hit your "follow" button. -Karen

Sounds like you had a very wonderful time relaxing there. It's not hard to see why; that room looks very lovely. I'm sure it has a wonderful view of the outdoor areas, and you can stay in that porch enjoying the sights.
