Happy Pink Saturday!

Do you ever have a creative block?
There are days when I walk past my art room and think that I should do something,
but what?
I peek in as I pass.
I might sit at my desk staring at paper, paint, beads and ribbon,
but I don't know what to do with them.

Odds and Ends

What can I do with these?

I find I like pink these days.
Pink fabrics, pink beads, etc.
Maybe I'll fool around with a few items.
A piece of fabric, a bit of string, a little print.
I don't know how to sew clothing, but I can fool around with my machine
and use it for a mixed-media piece.

I think this little piece would be cute in a baby girls room.
I need to frame it with a white frame.
I may hang it in my Barnes and Nobles display coming in November,
NOT October as I had previously posted!
Or
In my Etsy shop that needs to be restocked!

Thanks for stopping by
and
Happy Pink Saturday!

Perfect for a baby's room. I always did my baby girl rooms in pink. So sweet.

So, so lovely, Lynn! I don't believe in blocks... but sometimes we must let our ideas/creations rest for a while... like good wine ;)

Happy Pink Saturday, Lynn! I love pink, too, and I absolutely understand that feeling of walking by the studio and not knowing what to do. I've got it right now!

Looks as though you are very creative! I have a lot of craft items that I'm getting ready to sort through. I don't do much of anything with it anymore so I will be getting rid of things. Let me know if you are interested in various paper, rubber stamps, etc.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Yes, pink always puts me in a creative mood. It's such a glorious color. I know what you mean about creative blocks... it happens from time to time. I guess we have to go away from it for awhile, and when we come back, we're filled with creative ideas.

Lynn, your odds and ends are great the way they are. The mixed media piece is very pretty. It will look lovely framed in white. You will find your creativity soon.

These are darling pink items. I believe that "blocks" are telling us to slow down, walk away and refresh and then come with even more inspiration. Thanks for hopping over to my the "pink cottage door and awnings. Have a delightful, blessed week, happily back in a very creative mood.
