Creating

Hi Everyone!
Hope you're having a great day.
My computer seems to be working now-so far, so good.
It's raining today, but that's ok, it forces me to
get things done that I like to put off.
 I admit I hate housework-laundry, etc.
Just because I stopped working to raise my kids, doesn't mean I love to vacuum,
scrub woodwork with a tooth brush, etc., etc.!
Don't get me wrong-my house is always neat-
or rather, as neat as it can be with 2 teens and a big labrador retriever!
I do love to cook and bake.
Most of all I love to create.
That's how I spend my time-making jewelry, accessories, painting, etc.
I have been working on a lot of jewelry lately!

Here's a peek at my desk-
I usually keep things in groups by color.

Does your workspace look like this?

Do you need everything out?
I do.

I need to see all of my treasures, try this with that,
until I find the right combination.

While digging through my findings, I have my tv on, usually on news stations, National Geographic
or some nature show.
Maybe news stations are not a good idea-sometimes I get very riled up and have to turn it off-
not good for the creative process!
That's when I listen to my I-Pod.

What is your creative space like?
How do you create?

I wish I could say that I was a neat creator! I have looked and looked for solutions to the many projects resting here and there - I do like housework - a little - I do like a clean house more....just have to find the happy middle! I do appreciate you sharing your lovely post with Home and Garden Thursday,
Kathy

Oh, your jewelry is so beautiful and just looking at your pretties is eye candy. I'm rather messy when I'm creating. :)
Thank you for your kind words to me today.
You are a sweetie,
shelia ;)

Right now my work space is a real mess. I'm reorganizing things and it always gets worse before it gets better.
Your jewelry is beautiful! I can see why you would want all your things out, so you can choose just the right things.
I've been taking a water color painting class.

Now that is my kind of decor ! :-D
I use the dining table when I work on jewelry and try to keep it confined to one corner, but that does not always work. Hope to get a better work area set up before to long.

Hi, Lynn
I imagine having all your bits and pieces at hand would definitely provide inspiration. At the moment, I just have a knitting project on the go, so any any comfy chair is a good work space.

I love this space Lynn with all your goodies surrounding you. When I craft I must admit I make a bit of a mess. I too have to pull out alot of items to see what works. Have plans for a craft room when we finish the basement. Usually I craft with my SIL. She has a fab space and so we work over there. Then I bring it home set up a table in the family room and finish. My sewing room is probably the messiest it has ever been right now. I have more unfinished items than I have ever had. Since my knee surgery I just haven't been in the sewing mood as much. I really need to get in there and get em done! Thanks for sharing your talent with SYC.
Hugs,
Jann

Adderall contains dextroamphetamine, which has a spot with the catalyst and is used to treat ADHD. It is an amphetamine, similar to that of the medicine further fosters the speed obsession. Especially well known is this medication since it smothers the desire and assembles the strength, thusly causing the next day anyway no inevitable results, similar to alcohol or various prescriptions.
