A Glimpse Of Spring

Every February my friend and I look forward to visiting
our local nursery for their annual garden show.
It's a glimpse of spring that we all need this time of year!
We have lunch and then stroll through the garden displays.

Beautiful.

After the visit I bought some pretty Daffodils to brighten the house.
And, a few seed packets-
basil, cilantro, parsley to start.
My son gave me a great set up to start my seedlings this year.
How did he know, it was just what I wanted!
I never talked about it.
Recently he gave me my belated Christmas gift-
what a surprise-
a big over head light, various sized trays and blocks for starting the seeds.
Hopefully, I can get everything started this weekend
and before you know it we'll be making fresh pesto and salsa!
Everyone's favorites.

If you're experiencing winter storms-stay safe and warm.
And, if your lucky to be in a warm climate-enjoy!

Take care.
-Lynn

We have had so little snow in Chicago this year, that I am actually enjoying this storm. But spring ... oh yes, I am ready for it.

Fondly,
Glenda

The flowers are especially nice to see, there is some kind of storm heading this way later tonight. Good Luck with your seeds, Lynn!

What delightful spring flowers. Specially love Ranunculuses, my all time favorites. We got more tons of snow yesterday so no spring here:)
