Early Spring Flowers

"The flowers of late winter and early spring
occupy places in our hearts well out of proportion to their size."

It may be snowing outside, but it's springtime in my house!

Cheery flowers certainly make the wait for spring bearable... but wish it would hurry up.

The daffodils look great in the pots you painted, Lynn!

I just love daffs. I need to plant some bulbs. I think I will buy some pots of them and then plant the bulbs for next year.

Such beautiful Spring daffodils to cheer up your home.
I did an interior design course many years ago and the tutor said every room should have a little touch of yellow in it to make it a "happy place"!!
I think it works!

Sending you some warm Summer sunbeams from my corner of the world!

Those are lovely. I've never forced bulbs indoors before. With all the dust, my houseplants barely survive as it is. :/ Have a great day. Tammy

It's winter at my house, too, but I'm so enjoying other bloggers' spring flower posts -- and your flowers and photography are lovely!

Daffodils are favorites of mine too. They just shout spring is on it's way!

Thank goodness it's melting, Lynn! Maybe this is the last of it for our neck of the woods? I love the daffodils in your pots. I recognize them from an earlier post - I love the way you painted them.

Thanks so much for joining in this week!

What a cheery sight, Lynn! It's wonderful to have a bit of spring in the house when it's still winter outdoors. It does lift one's spirits!
