I know, I know, Christmas is after Thanksgiving, but I couldn't resist
showing you this pretty paper tree!
This paper caught my eye while visiting a stationery store.
Not sure what I would use it for, I had to have it (along with a few others).
Going into a paper store is like going into a candy shop, at least that's how I see it.
This pretty tree was super easy to make. I made a cone out of 100# Bristol,
and taped it with clear packing tape. Then I cut out strips of my decorative paper
and glued them in rows around the cone. I create, just like I cook-I wing it until I like the outcome.
There are 2 more trees in the works, just need to take some photos.
Maybe I'll hold off until after Thanksgiving!
Hope you're having a great week!

What a pretty paper tree, Lynn. I know what you mean.....Thanksgiving is not even here, but I can't help myself when it comes to Christmas. I am already in the spirit.

You are an inspiration! I remember I found a great cookie recipe on your blog, and now, this simple tree. Maybe, I need to make my own tree. Thank you, Lynn!
Very fun project.

That paper is very attractive and makes for a beautiful tree.
Pretty paper and it makes a darling tree. I am thinking Christmas already and starting to decorate my rental space for Christmas. Plus it snowed today so that is getting me even more in the mood.
Your tree is lovely! I have no room for anything more than I have, or I would make one of those. I love it!
Paper Christmas tree looks amazing. Good work...
I love your paper tree Lynn.

Very cute!
Love that paper too Lynn. I feel that way about paper and fabric. Whenever I enter a quilt shop or paper store I get excited. Your little tree turned out so cute. I played with paper this weekend too. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
