Yes, I'm at it again.
I've been creating more Christmas decorations!
Take a peek at the pretty stars made from cardboard stars, tissue paper
and decoupage finish.
This was another really easy project.
The tissue paper was one of my purchases from the stationery store
where I bought the paper for the Christmas tree I posted recently.
The cardboard stars are from Michael's, as is the decoupage finish.
The bows are from scrap ribbon and a few strands of burlap. (I keep everything...)
I simply cut out various sizes of tissue paper, brushed a small area of the star with decoupage and applied the pieces of tissue. Once applied, I painted over the tissue with decoupage and continued the process until the star was completely covered. Then I left it to dry over night. Once dry, I used a hot glue gun to apply a ribbon.
See, very easy!
I'm working on a few more decorations which will be posted soon, along with the trees I promised to post too. Now I have to think about my Thanksgiving menu! I'm cooking again this year and hope to get some grocery shopping done tomorrow. I've been perusing Pinterest every night pinning tasty dishes to my Thanksgiving board. Feel free to follow me on Pinterest :)
Hope you're having a wonderful week.
