Summer Decks and Porches

Welcome to my screened porch! Today I am joining Savvy Southern Style for a Summer Decks and Porches Party. Please join me!
Have a seat in my screened porch. This is my favorite morning place.

Would you like an iced tea?

As soon as I saw this sconce, I had to have it! Perfect for the screened porch, it matches the outdoor dining tables and chairs.

Do you mind if Bud E. joins us? He loves a party!

I love decorating with bird houses. I had a large one in the yard, but a tree took it down.

Flowers on the deck. I love bright, cheery colors.

Here's a glimpse of my garden. Or should I say former garden...

This beautiful old Oak fell the other night.  Not even a breeze when I heard the strange crackling sound!

Where's my garden? The clean-up will take a few days! See the stump from another tree that fell?!

At least this rose was saved. My dad gave me this for my garden. I quickly dug it up before the clean-up began!

This is what you'd see in my yard now.
Hope you enjoyed your time visiting! Feel free to stop by any time. See you soon.

  1. What a lovely sunroom. Like you are in a tree house. Love those little pink lights in your garden. Hope you get it back together soon. You will at least have more sun for growing flowers.

  2. Oh your poor garden. I do hope it comes back-maybe the roots of the plants weren't hurt. I love your porch and Bud E. is beautiful.

  3. Your porch and garden are lovely. I'm so sorry about the tree. We have old trees on our property and I'm always saying a prayer that they keep standing.

  10. What a wonderfully woodsey-feel. I feel refreshed just having looked at the ice tea with a sprig of mint in it.
