Beauty can be found in all seasons.
Here in the northeast it's still chilly.
I see daffodil leaves peeking out of the ground in my front yard.
While waiting for spring flowers to arrive,
I thought I'd share a photo I took at Lake Minnewaska.
To me this winter wildflower is just as pretty as any spring bloom.
I love the textures.
Sometimes we just need to take the time to look a little closer.

I agree that is a beautiful wildflower, I can imagine a large vase of them would be stunning.
I've pressed some Queens Anne's Lace flowers from my garden and I can't wait to see how they dry.

Beauty! For those of us who live in colder climes we learn to see beauty in the simplicity of a past bloom standing out starkly against the winter sunshine. daffodils and crocus are shooting up in our gardens as well.
