Rosebud

A tiny rose bud begins to lift it's head toward the sun.

After a brief shower...

... the petals begin to unfurl.

Have a beautiful day!

Hi Lynn,
I love your rosebud pics! I've only planted three roses so far. The deer eat the buds the minute they unfurl. I am going to have to move them around back. One became hidden behind a sunflower. I actually got to enjoy a few blooms that they didn't see. I snagged them up and brought them into my home. Have a great weekend!

Your photos are wonderful! And that rose bud is quite a beauty. When I read your "About me" section I saw a lot of myself. I was a research Chemist for 14 yrs. before I stayed home w/ my kids. My youngest is a senior this year - so I am also looking to find out who I am besides wife and mother : ) I am really enjoying trying my hand at some art projects. It is quite invigorating. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I look forward to see you around more! Happy Pink Sat.
Blessings,
Tricia

There's nothing prettier to me than a single rose. Thanks for starting my day off with that. Have a great weekend.

You have a great camera to get such close ups. Also, you know who to use it. Beautiful work.
