A week away was just what I needed.
Some time to clear my head and relax.
No tv or computer, no cooking, cleaning, doctors appts., college planning or grocery shopping!
Just sunshine, laughter and beach-perfect.

Plenty of photos for future watercolors or some mixed-media.
I filled my notebook with little project ideas and sketches.
And, made a plan to get a bit more organized!
Sometimes I start a million projects, jumping from one to another
and before you know it there's quite a mess and nothing is finished!
Ribbons and beads, paper and paints,
etc., etc.!!!
We all need a break once in a while.
It doesn't need to be a week away from home and family.
This was a rare treat for me.
A walk on the beach or in the woods or whatever you enjoy.
For me connecting with nature always clears my head and inspires.
I think I'll frame a few photos
and put them over my desk to keep me relaxed and motivated!

I am so glad you had a good time. You deserved it.
You are so smart to have done this! Gorgeous photos. We took at few days up in the mountains and it was so therapeutic. Not entirely off the computer but at least most of the time!
