A Week Away

A week away was just what I needed.

Some time to clear my head and relax.

No tv or computer, no cooking, cleaning, doctors appts., college planning or grocery shopping!

Just sunshine, laughter and beach-perfect.

Siesta Key

Plenty of photos for future watercolors or some mixed-media.

I filled my notebook with little project ideas and sketches.

And, made a plan to get a bit more organized!

Sometimes I start a million projects, jumping from one to another

and before you know it there's quite a mess and nothing is finished!

 Ribbons and beads, paper and paints, 

etc., etc.!!!

We all need a break once in a while. 

It doesn't need to be a week away from home and family.

This was a rare treat for me.

A walk on the beach or in the woods or whatever you enjoy.

For me connecting with nature always clears my head and inspires.

I think I'll frame a few photos 

and put them over my desk to keep me relaxed and motivated!
